Regarding my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a message I just recieved: "ok corndog ACR stands for nothing. i haveowned 2 2001 acr's these cars willNOT get 30 mpg maybe 24.your car like mine has had the hell run out of it. please try and be honest. i know it will be hard for you."

Normally this sort of thing wouldn't bug me, but this guy is actually so wrong it hurts my face.

1. ACR actually does stand for something. American Club Racer, maybe the absolute best track package that has been offered by an American company in years. There is NO other company that can get you into a street legal racecar for that cheap.

2. I did the math myself, something this guy probably has never heard of. 30 mpg.

3. It has not been beaten to shit, I cared for it just like previous owners

4. I find myself pretty damn reasonable and honest.

So be gone, Ebay scum!

Not as bad as some kid offering me 3500 for my 2008 Cobalt SS Turbo...one of 340ish with the LSD and other odds and ends....I wanted to hit him hard.

Believe it or not, while searching for an alternative to the Neon, I actually looked into those. Pretty, quick, and might be one of few FWD econo-based cars that could potentially kick the Neon's ass.

Its a shame people on Ebay can't just accept that maybe the car they're looking at isn't worth the same as the 120k mile, beat-to-shit one that's for sale down the street for them

I can always appreciate someone doing customization to whatever car they own, because I can see how it would be cool to design the exact look you want. But who looks at that, smiles, and says "There. Perfect."?

When I was trying to sell my '74 Dodge Dart, which had original paint and vinyl top in beautiful condition, I got a guy who offered me $800 for it, because he was just going to rattle can primer over the paint so it didn't look like it was worth breaking into.

I have in the past, and continue presently, to be a strong and ardent supporter of the position that "stupid, should hurt".

We have genetic scientists LITERALLY... around. the. world. What are they doing? Wasting time trying to cure AIDS. Trying to cure cancer, heart disease, blah blah blah.

What SHOULD they be doing? Obviously, they should be re-engineering our human genome so that STUPID HURTS! Seriously. If stupid hurt, and of course the level of pain would be proportional to the level of stupid, people like this eBay idiot, or your average YouTube commenter would... just. stop. It would hurt too much to continue.

I'm able to get 30 out of my automatic Neon! Even with your race-y gearing, I'm sure if you tried hard you could get much more than that.

Over the first 3 tanks I had with my car, I averaged somewhere around 30. It was definitely more, but I don't remember the exact number. I just put 30 in the ad because it's pretty damn impressive.

You gotta love the neons though. Cheap, (mostly) reliable, and a ton of fun, all in a reasonable package.
